TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – If you’re ready to hit the Gulf and go scalloping, the dates for 2020 have been set.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announced Friday the 2020 bay scallop season for Gulf County. It will open August 16th and remain open through September 24th.
Commissioners say the season was set after working with the local community and the summer and fall season will help with the sustainability of the scallops.
