There’s plenty to look forward to in Gulf County as we head toward fall! Visit Gulf’s August update highlights what’s coming to our area, from seasonal events and live music to new ways to celebrate the people and businesses that make our community so special.
The Shore Is Fun fall campaign is officially underway, showcasing some of the things we love most about this time of year—less-crowded beaches, family bike rides, paddling our coastal waters, exploring the outdoors and simply slowing down to enjoy life along Florida’s Forgotten Coast.
Also included in this month’s update:
- 2026 Champions of Tourism Awards nominations are now open, recognizing outstanding individuals, businesses and organizations throughout Gulf County.
- Live music returns this October with a concert series featuring performances throughout the month.
- The 2026 Gulf County Tourism Annual Meeting & Partner Reception is on the horizon.
- Visit Gulf welcomes Bella Russell, the newest intern joining the Gulf County Tourism team.
- Important reminders and resources are available to help residents and visitors stay storm-ready.
Fall is one of our favorite times to enjoy Cape San Blas, Port St. Joe, Indian Pass and the surrounding Gulf County communities, and there’s already plenty happening as the season approaches.
